Chicane Bed and breakfast is well positioned, being at the pivot of all that can be enjoyed in Addo, Kirkwood and the Sunday's River Valley. The region is home to the Addo Elephant, the Addo Rose Gardens and is the largest Citrus producing region in South Africa.

The many adventure attractions of Addo and tours are close by: from the Addo Elephant National Park, Addo Raptor and Reptile Centre, Elephant Back Safari's, Schotia Safari's, Shamwari Private Reserve, and the Daniel Cheetah Camp.

The Addo Elephant National Park is situated a short 20km by road from Chicane B&B and is a must visit for outdoor and wildlife enthusiasts. The Park was established in 1931 to save the remaining 11 Elephants, on the brink of extinction. Home to Elephant, Lion, Cape Buffalo, Black Rhino, the rare Flightless Dung Beetle and a range of Antelope species, the Addo Elephant Park offers a range of outdoor adventure activities, which include horse back game viewing and horse riding, guided walks, hiking, 4x4 trails, park tours and a picnic area for day visitors.
